Your wedding day is about more than amazing photographs.

You should have someone there who truly understands your decision to elope.

My commitment to you is to make sure every single moment of your wedding day is not only documented, but is everything you want it to be from beginning to end. You deserve an experience that preserves the integrity of an elopement, where the focus is solely on you. You deserve to have someone there who truly understands what you two are about, eases any burdens, and helps make your wedding day pure magic.

This means I’ll help you with your dress as you get ready, I’ll arrange your emotional “first look”, laugh with you as we hike to the location, hold your bouquet, cheer and cry with you after you’ve officially said your vows; I’ll build you a romantic campfire where you’ll share your first dance. Most importantly, I’ll take the time to listen to what you want out of your wedding day.

I believe strongly in your decision to elope and will put my heart and soul into helping you realize your dream. Before we start planning, we’ll talk about how you met, what you love most about each other, your values as a couple, and what makes you feel alive.

A bit more about me.

Hey! I’m HaleyClare, your friendly Tennessee and destination photographer. Traveling is a big part of my life and in recent years I decided to make it a priority. While I do a lot of international travel, I never feel quite as much at home as I do in the Great Smoky Mountains. It’s a place I grew up learning how to build fires, how to rock climb, wilderness survival skills, my passion for wildlife photography; it’s where I’ve broken in every new pair of hiking boots… and where I’ve broken a few bones (oops).

My husband Will and I take our daughter, Wednesday, and our rescue pups, Wingnut and Catfish, hiking and camping as often as possible.

It’s important to me that my couples not only trust me to make sure their wedding day is perfect, but that my couples also see me as their advocate, confidant, & friend; someone they can be themselves in front of and laugh with. After all, I may be the only person with you on the most important day of your life. I take that responsibility and honor very seriously. The photos I take of you will be all you have from your wedding day. Those images will be the entire story of the day you got married, a memory only the two of you will share, so you deserve a photographer who understands the magnitude of documenting it and one who will be over the moon to share the experience with you.

Researching, mapping out, & guiding you to your location.

Recommending vendors, whether it be a private chef, florist, hair+makeup, pilot, driver, or officiant.

Making sure no one gets hangry on their wedding day — I’ll bring all the snacks.

Planning out your timeline.

Bringing all the gear — headlamps, ponchos, first aid kit, camping stove, & anything else you might never know you needed.

Keeping your hair & makeup looking perfect once we reach your location.

Elopements vs. Intimate Ceremonies

At the heart of each lies the same desire for a wedding day done differently, the desire for the focus to be solely on the couple. Wedding ceremonies with 20 guests or less are considered intimate ceremonies, while elopements are just the couple. Both have great significance for the couple and mark the same beautiful milestone. That’s why my packages don’t differentiate based on number of guests and I would be extremely honored to be a part of either occasion.

Delivery day. Your full resolution digital gallery is sent to you with all of your images ready to download and share.
