You aren’t like every other couple and you deserve a photographer who spends the time to get to know you.
That’s why sessions with me aren’t one-size-fits-all. My entire purpose as your photographer is to create photos and an experience that feels true to you. It really matters to me that you have a photo session that is not only customized according to what you like to do, but that during your session you’re creating new memories with your partner.
You deserve to be able to able to look at your photos and say, “that’s so us”
I love the couples who self-proclaim to be untraditional or wild or have unusual hobbies.
I also love the couples who say things like, “we’re so awkward on camera” then totally surprise themselves with their courage to be vulnerable (and look drop-dead gorgeous in their photos).
Every couple has something totally unique about them that shines during their session. It’s pretty special to witness. That’s why these sessions mean a lot to me.
Meet your photographer
(aka your new best friend)Hey I’m HaleyClare! I’m based in Nashville, TN where I was born and raised, and I live here with my husband, daughter, and our rescue pup, Fish. Will and I have been together for 12 years but we actually met in high school (I had a huge, embarrassing crush on him).
I value time with my weird little family above all else, whether we’re camping in the Smokies, living out of a van in Iceland, or going birding in the local parks. My life is unconventional in a lot of ways so I really connect with couples who consider themselves to be a bit unconventional, too.
So how does this work?
Once you know you’re ready to reserve your date, you can click here to send me an email to let me know! I’ll send you a contract to officially get you in my calendar, and we’ll schedule a consult to talk logistics and vision for the session. After that, it’s countdown until the session day!
Following our session I’ll start the editing process. The final step, of course, is gallery delivery day.

Couples or engagement session in the Smoky Mountains, Chattanooga, Asheville, or Foster Falls. Traveling is a big part of my life and I travel for sessions as often as possible. If you have another location in mind, I’d love to hear it!

We’ll use the time to do something that really speaks to who you are as a couple, whether it’s riding motorcycles, rock climbing, horseback riding, fishing, or just enjoying each other’s company in the woods with a bottle of champagne. What about a sunrise canoe experience? The choice is yours.

Intimate lifestyle couples session at a beautifully designed local studio that has cozy at-home vibes and complete privacy. I’ll bring my bluetooth speakers so we can have all your favorite music. You set the tone for the session; it’s up to you whether you want your photos to be playful, intimate, romantic, edgy, steamy, or fun.

Propose. You have the ring. You have ideas of how you want to ask the biggest question of your life. I’m here to help you plan then capture the moment as it happens. Whether you choose a waterfall or Cheekwood Holiday Lights, I’ll be hiding in plain sight (I’ve also been known to hide in trees) to make sure I document this milestone.

Planning session to talk about your vision & logistics down to the finest detail. Not from the area? I’ve got you. We’ll coordinate via maps, pins, and anything else we need.
After you pop the question, we will take time to take photos around the location so you have some official photos for your announcement
Please keep in mind that some venues such as Cheekwood require advanced reservation. You will need to receive a permit and there is a fee attached. For Cheekwood Holiday Lights, there are designated areas that they allow proposals and will even provide a little bottle of champagne! I absolutely love Cheekwood proposals, and would love to photograph yours, so please make sure to speak with the venue as soon as possible!
