Birth isn’t just one big push to bring baby earth-side. So being your birth photographer means I’m not just there for the big finale.
Labor is one hell of a journey and you deserve a photographer who gives it the gorgeous documentation it deserves.

This is why you deserve to have your entire birth story documented. Giving birth is a transformative, beautiful experience that— while it may not seem quick in the moment— is ultimately fleeting. There will be moments you’ll long to remember, or powerful moments you’ll only see from another’s perspective. You deserve photos that bring you right back to that incredible day.
Your photos should tell the entire story from the way you lean into the waves of each contraction… to the quiet moments when you can rest… to your partner’s supportive arms around you.
I’ll capture the powerful moment when baby’s crowning, your final pushes, then the moment baby makes his or her way into the world.
You’ll have photos of that highly anticipated moment when your baby is in your arms and you meet each other for the first time. I’ll capture the intimate skin-to-skin moments baby has with your partner, the tears, the smiles, the first latch or bottle, the first exam, the first yawns…
My role extends beyond photographing your birth journey.
I’m with you every step of the way. From our very first consult to the day your baby arrives, I’m here for you.
We’ll have plenty of phone calls to check in and confirm the birth plan. Maternity sessions are also a perfect opportunity to update me or ask questions.
I’ll be on-call beginning at your 37 week mark. Day or night, it doesn’t matter the time, I’ll stay up through the night with you and will be right by your side the whole time.
I’m part of your birth support system.
My job is to make sure that you feel fully in control and fully present.
As your birth tog, I’m one of your biggest advocates and part of your support system.
Aside from hospital staff/midwives/doulas, you are the only person I take instructions from (and your partner, of course).
While my job is to take photos, I am always here to help, whether you need words of encouragement, redirecting of unwanted visitors, handing you an extra pillow, or putting a quick braid in your hair.
Let’s talk labor.
Labor is different for every mama.
You may want to stay in the bed, labor in the hot shower, or walk around. Your partner might give you a back massage or your doula might hold a straw for you to sip water.
Your labor may take several hours and you may do one or all of these things. I document it all in its authenticity and as beautifully as possible. My philosophy is all about body-positivity and empowerment.
